Q: What should I consider when converting an attic
We are looking at a new house. We love the 1st floor and the property is amazing. However, the upstairs bedrooms are very small. We were wondering about redoing the attic, but the ceilings are very low. We know that we would need an architect/engineer to review the house in order to make a determination on if the space could be used, but are there other things we should look at first to determine if it is a possibility. Just want to know if there are basic things we should look at to save the costs of putting a contingent offer and hiring an engineer.
