Q: What are the best brands of whirlpool tubs? Kohler? Jacuzzi? American Standard?
I would love to get a brand and possibly a model recommendation for a whirlpool tub. We're thinking about getting one for our master bath, but I want one that will last and function well. I'd love to get a recommendation from a pro. The brands that I've looked at as part of my research are Jacuzzi, Kohler, and American Standard. Which of those is the best? Any other brands we should look into? Any tub brands we should stay away from? Thank you!

Hopatcong, NJA: Hope this helps on whirlpool tub brands
I found your question from so long ago, because now I'm asking the same one. Maybe this will help someone else who may look here. I can only tell you my 25-year experience with American Standard. Perfect. Lifetime Warranty that I never had to use. Not one problem with the acrylic tub, pump ~ anything. The plastic color-coordinated valve covers did tend to 'age' over time (I guess also due to light & heat ~ after all, it's just plastic). If hurricane Sandy hadn't destroyed my home in 2012, I'd still be using it. Now, I'm in the same position as you ~ looking for the right tub again, but this time American Standard doesn't have the shape & color I like in the size I need. All the brands you mentioned are incredibly expensive these days, I've found. Right now, I'm looking into Laurel Mountain (can order direct from them); been around 20 years or so; great warranty; HIGHLY customizable at what appears to be a better price point. Their HQ's in PA; manufacture out of GA & SC. 1/9/2013
