Q: What's the proper way to install new wainscoting?
I gutted my bathroom and put new sheetrock up. Since I am going toinstall 32" wainscotting, can I stop my new sheetrock 32" from the floor, or is it best to have it go the whole height of the wall and install the wainscotting over the heetrock?

Wallboard (sheetrock) should always be installed first. In a bathroom, "green board" should be used. ZNot only does this support the the wainscoating but also seals the walls from drafts. Usually, we install and finish all the sheetrock and atleast use one coat of a primer/sealer first, then install the wainscoting.
