Replacing a tile or fix it? Thats a good question-- You could take the presumably easy road and fill the crack with glue or epoxy... but then the crack would still be unsightly. and if walked on it would still continue to degrade.
It is not that much work to replace a tile
use a chisel and crack out the rest of the tile, clean out the surrounding grout, and place the new tile in-- wait a day and then grout the perimeter.
The thing is this--- if you continue to make quicky repair on top of quicky repair to your home sooner or later you will pay for it. And in the interim you will be surrounded by a home that is sub standard and never works right-- You should enjoy your home, and love to come home to it at the end of the day, not dread it because nothing works right or its falling apart.
Take your time and repair this one small thing the right way. Its a good start.
Please let me know how you made out

but the effects wouldn't be long-term. If you intend to fix a cracked bathroom tile my advice would be to seal it with a sealant, however, it won't be perfect and you'll still be able to see the crack in the tile. Cracked tiles can't be fixed like a cracked windshield. So, you could fix the crack in the tile, but the best thing to do would be to replace it.
