Q: Are candle sconces safe?
I think candle sconces look really lovely and add a special warmth to a house. If I add them to my home, I would like to actually use them. Are they safe to use?

As with any open flame, they are safe to use as long as you don't leave them unattended. If you read the small print on the label it will state that, and it is just common sense.
I personnally love candle light, it creates a special romantic and warm athmosphere and is a lovely update to your home. I have a candle 'chandelier' installed in my dining room and use it regularly. It never fails to impress my guests and they love the warm glow it creates. It has never been a safety issue, but we make sure that we extinguish the candles before they are burnt all the way down and we never leave them unattended.
