Q: What can you do with paint that is absolutely caked on?
I am sure this is a question and a job for a professional! We recently bought a home that was built around 1940. It's clear that the walls, trim, and window sills have been painted many times. This is our first home, so I haven't really had to deal with painting much. What needs to be done to get this paint off, so that we won't have this sloppy look? Is this going to take a lot of time or harsh chemicals? We have a new baby. Will we have to go stay somewhere while the painters take care of this? Thank you!
