A professional contractor should always clean up his work when the job is completed. Dust and dirt can create scratches in wood floors causing long term damage! A true craftsman takes pride in his installation and cleans up for his clients.

Any qualilty craftsmen will make sure when he leaves his work, as well as the work around his looks in the best shape possible before they finish. Most will at the lease use their jobsite broom and a rag to clean the dust off of the floor. I take it a step further and usually use a clean product safe for that type of floor and competely clean our work once we are finished. Sometimes contractors will leave a surface dirty to try and hide some imperfections until they get paid. Better check that floor carefully!!
