Q: Do Stainmaster Carpets really resist stains?
Are these too good to be true? I am a self-proclaimed klutz and have spilled everything from paint to red wine on my carpets. I have yet to meet a carpet that I haven't been able to soil. So would these Stainmaster carpets hold up to my antics?

While no carpet is 100% stain-proof, Stainmaster would probably be your best bet. The fibers of Stainmaster carpet have a Teflon solution applied. Because of this treatment, rather than being absorbed, most spills bead up on the carpet fibers allowing for easy cleanup.
Stainmaster does make different lines of carpet, each with a different "level" of stain resistance, and warranty coverage. The highest level is Stainmaster Ultra Life, which is available only at certain dealers, or "Stainmaster Flooring Centers", which have earned certification from Stainmaster to carry this line.
