Q: Anyone have experience with Lumber Liquidators?
How is the quality on Lumber Liquidators' stuff? Also, can you get better deals out there with more traditional hardwood floor providers? Do flooring installers mind working with Lumber Liquidators? Thanks.

A:
I have done business with companies like Lumber Liquidators and had positive results for the customer and myself, the installer. A person can find great deals on flooring from anywhere like Big Lot's, Lowe's, Mystic Carpet, or any other store- online or off.
Flooring installers are more than willing to work with customers. My company as well as others will help the customer to figure out the square footage or yardage of flooring needed for their home and even pick it up and deliver it if needed.
No matter where you chose your flooring from make sure that if you are purchasing an out of stock item, discontinued item , or clearance item you purchase at the minimum 15% over the needed amount. This way if repairs are needed to the flooring they can be made easily.
I would recommend choosing a flooring company where you can go to the warehouse and see the flooring in person. This is the best way to ensure you are getting exactly what you want in color and texture.
If you have already purchased your flooring- call around for installation estimates. Most companies provide them for free but some do charge- remember to ask before you schedule.
