Q: Do green insulation options, such as Icynene LD-R-50, provide as good insulation as conventional foam or fiberglass insulation?
I have been reading about Icynene's LD-R-50 castor-oil-based insulation product. I am sold on this product's ecological soundness, but does it work as well as traditional foam or fiberglass products? Are there other green insulation options I should be considering? I would love to use a greener form of insulation if possible, but I don't want to select something that is less energy efficient. Thanks.
