Q: Do any contractors or homeowners have an opinion on GE's green Geospring water heater?
I recently saw an ad for the GE Geospring water heater. I've been thinking of replacing my water heater in order to save some money on bills and go a bit more green. Have any green professionals or homeowners installed or used the Geospring? The ad said it can reduce energy used to heat water as much as 62%. ...Sounds like a good return on the investment to me. Thanks.

A: Stay away from GE
I am on my second Geospring water heater. I waited months for parts to come in from China. I gave up and bought another unit and took the first one back for a refund. The second unit may now be failing and may require replacement as well. GE has quality problems with their factory in China (at least on this product).
