Q: Restoration Hardware for kitchen hardware?
Hello! I've found a couple sets of knobs and pulls that I really like at Restoration Hardware. I'm just a little nervous that Resto is a retail store and therefore I may be getting charged more for the level of quality that I'm buying. I know that their stuff is super high-quality, but would I be better off going through a more professional, less retail, outlet? Would I get a better price for the same level of quality? Thanks for the advice!

Get the name of the manufacturer and model number, and look for it online. As a retailer of hardware myself, we sell hardware at a retail price, but there are many sites such as www.myknobs.com that sell below retail and don't charge for shipping. They carry a large range of manufacturers and do not have a storefront, so they can charge less.
