Q: Does the GE Single Double Wall Oven have enough room in the top and bottom ovens?
Hi! I would love to have a double oven in my kitchen, but we just don't have enough space. How is the GE Single Double Wall Oven? Is this a good option? Is there enough room in each of the ovens?
Posted in Kitchen on
Are there any other manufacturers of these single double wall ovens that I should consider?
Thanks!

Yes, you can fit a 20lb. turkey in the bottom of the GE Single Double Oven, and the top is enough space for those everyday items such as casseroles and cookies. Jenn-Air & Whirlpool make a Micro/Oven combo, but GE is the only manufacturer that I know of that makes a unit that has 2 separate ovens in the space of one. You can read my blog post about this unit at http://narfinecarpentry.wordpress.com/2010/06/06/the-single-double-wall-oven-by-ge/
I doubt you will be sorry if you purchased this unit- it works great!

A: I want this oven and have been wanting to buy it...but...
I have a gas range, love it, and cannot live without it...per the GE specifications, this oven is not designed to go under a gas range. This is the only thing holding me back. I have checked with 3 different companies, and they will not install under a gas range. There is room to accomodate the installation, but I'm waiting for GE to come out with a model just like this that can be installed under a gas range. I have been without an over for over a year! Jennifer from GE...can you get the word to GE to help design this.
