Q: Does it cost 40% more to build green?
I heard somewhere that it cost an extra 40% to build a green home. Is this an accurate assessment? If so, is it worth it? Do you make any reasonable portion of that money back in utilities or resale? Thanks.
A: Building Green Should cost the Same
Our area of expertise is painting, knowing Green Earth Friendly Paints cost the same as premium quality interior paints from various paint manufactures. Knowing this, one could be inclined thinking other Earth Friendly Green Products being on the same cost level as others, but have not given an in depth study. Have heard solar panels take approx. 10 years to repay themselves, selling electricity back to the grid, but not sure about that either.
Knowing Green Earth Friendly Paints costing the same as other premium paints, using Green Eco Paints offers an ideal way to update the interior decor with the least amount of expense.
