Q: What is GuildQuality?
I saw a link to this site on Breyer Construction's page. What is GuildQuality? What kind of information can I get on this site? Is it like Angie's List? Do a lot of contractors have pages on Guild Quality? Do contractors pay to get on there? I guess I want to know if it is paid advertising or if it is more of a place to compare different contractors? Anybody used Guild Quality in the past?

Great question!
Guild quality is a third party company providing customer satisfaction surveys.
It is a service that I as a contractor pay for... But can not control how I am represented. After each deck project, HFS will contact our client, typically by email, and ask them to rate us on about 20 quick questions. It is a 1-4 sliding scale, if I remember correctly, and there is the option of giving additional feedback.
You also have the option to leave a public review, similar to Google's Places or the like.
WWW.GuildQuality.com allows you to see the "report card" for contractors across the country, and get honest feedback from their past clients. We have found it to be an excellent way for our future clients to see why our past clients chose to work with us- Angie's List is another such consumer tool.
I hope this assists,
Matt

Atlanta, GAA: Thanks for your answer, Matt
Thanks Matt. I'm the founder of GuildQuality, and will expand on Matt's answer a little. GuildQuality helps home builders, remodelers, contractors, and other residential real estate and construction companies monitor and improve the quality of service they deliver. And for those of our members that choose to have us publish a summary of their performance on our website, we help their prospective clients and homebuyers understand what type of experience that past customers have had.
