Q: how do you replace a single t&g 2x6 in exposed ceiling without removing other t&g 2x6s? the roof will be off. thanks. w

I think you can successfully remove the board by cutting it lengthwise down the middle, then you can pry it out one side at a time.
To get a new one in there, cut off the "tongues".

If your not good using a circular saw or reciprocating saw. A fein oscillating cutting tool or similar brand may be the way to go but would take much longer.
