Q: How can I find a handyman to do a few simple jobs?
You always see ad's for construction but how can we find someone reliable who will do a few odd jobs. We need a ceiling fan replaced, some trim painted and a few feet of tile laid.

Try posting an ad on Craigslist in the 'gigs', 'labor' section. Or, search for someone in the 'services', 'skill'd trade' area.

Look in to the local NAHB Remodelers council home chapter ot NARI chapter or ind someone you know who can show you work they have had done. Sometimes actually seeing the work is better than calling, some folks have different levels of expectations, hope these comments help.
