Q: What concerns should we have when a house has recently been leveled on jacks?
We're interested in moving into a house that recently was leveled using house jacks. The house was built in the 1960's and is in a liquefaction zone, although one that has survived recent earthquakes without serious issues.

Are there specific questions we should ask, or improvements we should think about doing? We know the foundation overall is in good shape.

Jacks is the proper appilcation for that home. The questions you should ask, is there a warranty where they come back and adjust it over time. Is the company a qualified installer of the product that is in there. Otherwise, it is a good option.
