Q: Are there nontoxic plants that will repel cats from your yard?
Are there plants that are non-poisonous to cats that will repel them? I am an animal lover and would certainly never want to hurt a cat. However, my neighbor's cat keeps coming into our yard and peeing on our grass. It's creating brown spots on a lawn that we have worked very hard to make lush and green. If we could add some shrubs or flowers to our yard that kitties don't like, that would be perfect. And, that would keep us from having a very awkward conversation with our neighbor. LOL! : )

There really aren't any non-poisonous plants the repel cats, however a common homeowner pest repellant is cayenne pepper. I know it sounds weird, but it is non-harmful and usually very effective. Just sprinkle a little over the common used areas.
