Q: Any recommendations for setting up a drip irrigation system?
I really want to put in a drip irrigation system for the outdoor plants around my house. But, I have only briefly looked into this technique. Can any homeowners or landscaping professionals point me in the right direction with some tips?

Drip irrigation is a great water saver. Installation can be timely but usually well worth it. It can be as simple as running 1/2" poly pipe (which can be connected straight to a valve or plugged right into an existing line) along your planting area. Use what's called spaghetti string to connect from the poly pipe to each shrub/plant with an emitter at the end.
