Q: In need of a classy deck that will withstand lots of sun and heat.
My wife and I recently bought a home with a synthetic/compressed wood deck that the previous owner put in. The deck looks okay, but we'd prefer to have something more natural looking. We'd like to replace this material with something that is classy and durable. It must be able to withstand LOTS of sun and very high temperatures. We are happy to pay up, but would love to get the opinion of a few professionals before moving forward. Thanks!

There are several very good manufactures- and each of these manufactures have several product lines... some are better than others.
I know it's been a bit since you asked the question, but the answer remains the same.
If you were a local client, I'd suggest you look at the following products:
Trex Transcend
TimberTech EarthWood or XLM
Azek (All color options)
Fiberon Horizon
Please understand that different parts of the country have different products sometimes... so it's important to know your area, and what is available & well supported. For instance, CorrectDeck is not easily available where I am- but it's a great product (their CX line, specifically).
Lastly, whatever you select, make sure you get to see some actual decks built with it- that have seen some weather. This way you can know what to expect from your deck!
Hope this helps,
~Matt

I would recommend Treks. It's very natural looking and guaranteed up to like 30 years. It's made from the same material as bender board which is extremely strong. You can usually find it at your local hardware store.
